Illumination Rosary Experience

For the aspiring mystic, or the individual wanting to experience a deeper connection with the divine, Illumination rosary is a prayerful path of connection, wisdom and devotion.

In the 1100’s Saint Dominic was inspired to create a rosary helping practicing Catholics to feel closer to the story of Mother Mary and whole life experience of Jesus Christ. During this time people were buying their seats in heaven, as well as seats in the cathedral, going to confession and asking the priest to intercede on their behalf with God for forgiveness and help. In this purist religion the common people had little hope of blessings and were falling away from the church. Attendance was down. Something needed to change.

How to make the faith a more real experience to those who did not have a Bible, could not read, and could not afford all the church at the time was selling? The rosary came into being and was given to everyone. Now even the common people had a way to connect and understand the mysteries. It was easily learned and recited using a simple string of beads to help the count of each cycle.

The original rosary had 3 cycles, the Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious mysteries. More recently a fourth cycle which moves through the inspiration of Christ teaching was introduced by the Pope. In our Illumination Rosary we follow the original 3 cycles, these cycles are called decades, because they are related to the ten beads used with repetitious prayer.

Using repetitive prayer is not a new phenomenon to humanity. All religions and spiritual paths have some form of this. In the east it is called mantra, in the west chant, in tribal community it may be more guttural voice with dance movements, wherever you are and whatever faith you have, if you dig, you’ll find this pattern of vocal clearing.

Repetitive prayer is like doing the doorknob (quantum clearing technique). But instead of using your hand to connect with the quantum field/Divine you are using your voice, erasing the troublesome energies you’ve been challenged with. I love the rosary because not only are you clearing troublesome energies, you are connecting with the words of the prayers and stories, you are actually invoking Mother Mary, and Brother Jesus. I often find while in the revere I feel them right by me, holding me in their arms, healing my heart and bringing me to a deeper understanding and calm.

It’s important to understand, things don’t always work out the way we want them to, but there is a greater plan. A plan that is rich in blessings and joy.

As you progress through the 15 decades you will gain an understanding based in love wisdom of pure joy, enduring suffering and challenge and finally explore the Glorious, as both Jesus and Mary take their bodies and ascend into Heaven.

Setting you up well for a beautiful experience

The first this of importance is the actual prayers. I’ve given them to you in a few ways:

Next, I wanted you to have 3 images you could use to help enhance your feeling of connection. I know that we all learn and experience things on different levels and sometimes having a physical image can help make the kinesthetic connection with the prayers.

And finally, you’ll receive the Illuminations harp recordings. These were recorded in a sound studio, have such a beautiful sound as if recorded in a cathedral, which by the way all of these were performed in grace cathedral years back at a labyrinth walk.

If you haven’t already gotten a Rosary bead set, I suggest you get one that has the image of the risen lord, not one of Christ hanging from the crucifix. My beads are of blue jade on rose gold. They are very precious to me. Get a simple set to start, make sure it has 5 sets of 10 beads with a single bead between. I didn’t know there were other configurations, and bought one in France only to discover it was 7 sets of 8, likely for a different set of prayers, or the rosary done differently to the traditional cycle.

Although we follow the traditional progression, we follow the prayer of the mystic, not the servant, meaning this can heal any unworthiness or feelings of disconnect you may have experienced previously with the ‘old’ rosary.

I also recommend a single candle and if possible a single fresh rose, though neither is necessary, this adds to the beautiful honoring you are entering into. Mary is known to have been particularly fond of roses, having yellow roses blooming on her feet in one of the appearances in Lourdes France. Your guide book will help you learn how to hold the beads and move them through your fingers as you progress through the mystery(s). say one grouping about one hour, the full 3 mysteries about 3 hours if you take time for contemplation between sets or use just a single decade, one of 15 for a daily meditation, about 10 minutes.

Tears of Longing fulfilled!

I lost my sense of love and devotion for the Divine through an extraordinary, painful set of circumstances. I surely must’ve met you in a past life. As I read your book my heart fills with joy and love and compassion. I shed tears and my heart just is so affected by you. When I read that you participated in the first holy Communion I knew it was right. I’m thinking wasn’t that the last supper? And who were you? I feel that I should be sitting at your feet. One mystery each day the most joyously anticipated aspect of my morning

I grew up in a tradition that revered Mary as the mother of Jesus, mostly at Christmas, but it didn’t go much further than that. I have felt drawn to Mary for the past few years as a source of help and encouragement, and I started praying to her, but didn’t feel my relationship to her was as deep as I wanted it to be. When I first received this prayer book, I didn’t quite know what to do with it. Going through a whole cycle in a sitting felt like too much for me, so I broke it down and started doing one mystery each day plus the prayers This discipline quickly became the most joyously anticipated aspect of my morning healing time. The prayers are exquisite and resonate so deeply. Each time I use them I feel transformation taking place I’ve been trying to memorize them to bring them even closer to me. Each morning I write three concerns on a little paper heart and place the heart in the book until the next day. Most of those concerns have vanished. Solutions come more quickly and easily when I take them to Mary through the Illumination Rosary. I expect I’ll be using this beautiful book to the end of my days. This book reinforced for me that when I seek help from the Divine, I get it. Like a lot of people, I’ve prayed prayers that didn’t seem to be answered (though when I look back from a distance, I can see that they were answered). I sense that the rosary, and in particular this beautiful, truth-filled rosary that Julie Renee has written, was a missing piece for me – something I’ve been needing and didn’t even know about.

The Rosary of Illumination created by Julie Renee Doering is very transformative! This book can easily be overlooked or pushed aside by most people when looking for tools to help themselves or who do not believe in the power of the rosary or prayer in general. And then there are people who know the value of the rosary but may think that only the official rosary approved by the Catholic Church is the only way to say the rosary. I belong to the latter group. I can attest that I thought in a similar way and wasn’t open to letting go of the Catholic version. I was fortunate enough to be in the physical presence of Julie Renee Doering attending one of her Diamond Retreat classes. She started her retreat with this Rosary of Illumination. I knew of this new rosary but I was fighting it and didn’t want to change. She asked us to really visualize the Light and the Love coming from our Third eye area and from our heart area to let it flow to the earth during the part of the Great Invocation of the Rosary of Illumination. Afterwards I was so filled with Light it was amazing. Julie Renee looked straight at me and I think she knew what an incredible affect this Rosary of Illumination had made on me and she smiled. Later on I read the Introduction of this book. In it she says this rosary has the power to clear away negative programs and entities. Once I was back at home I started to say the Rosary of Illumination on a nearly daily basis and I can attest that it helped to purify my mind from interfering negative mind chatter. Julie Renee also mentioned that this Rosary of Illumination has the power when said on a regular basis to increase our vibration to 1000 – that of Christ Consciousness. What a great tool and a way to bring Light and Love beautifully and effectively in one’s self and into the world! I also like the words that Julie Renee has chosen for her Rosary of Illumination because they reflect much more the New Area of Enlightenment and the supporting feminine energy that we are going into. It is much more positive and encouraging than the old way of suffering and the patriarchal world which is very much reflected in the standard rosary. This Illumination rosary is a bit longer then the traditional one but well worth it! The illumination effects are noticed very fast. That there is more than one format for a rosary that is effective and will be heard by Divine Mother and responded to. Just pure experiencing it. My body was filled with Light and Lightness!
