Oh dear, what the heck! On Facebook I posted an update on my page about HJD and his testing. It was somewhat lighthearted and thanking you for your concerns and prayers during his brief stay at Methodist Children’s Hospital.
Darius picked this up and asked for prayers for us. We received many well wishes. I went on that post and Meta had 4 options to get updates on Henry’s condition. When I clicked on the 2nd option, Meta informed me Henry had passed away, there was a GoFundMe page to help the family with expenses, and a meal train is enacted for those who can help. I asked Darius to shut off the AI or take down the post. He took down the post.
A week ago I asked the search engine through my Brave browser to provide all references to the Valley of Giants in Chronicles. It gave me one (I knew there were at least 4). It wasn’t a test but became one as I realized you cannot trust the search assistant.
AI presents a real danger. It lies, and folks believe that it is this great thing that is full of facts. Apparently, it has already been programmed to be dishonest, manipulative and evil. I received several direct messages of people wanting to give me links to funding for Henry’s funeral. Very sad that this evil exists and is moving into a weird authoritative position in our media and society.
Do not believe what AI tells you. I test it is lying 40% of the time. YIKES!
