Story
Maha Lakshmi is considered the counterpart to Lord Vishnu, God and Goddess of Love and Abundance. Grace and beauty are part of the blessings of the connection with the mother goddess. I used the longer Lakshmi Mantra called the Laksmi Strotam on the day I received my revelations of the human blueprint and began my regenerative journey, along with 2 other mantras included in this program.
The legends of Lakshmi make her the goddess appropriate for our age as we seek to resolve the dichotomy of light and dark in our self and in our world. Lakshmi was not born, but was brought into our world when the earth was struggling to survive. In the age where demons and gods lived in mortal form, a catastrophy of catoclismic proportion came to our world. Neither gods nor demons had the skill to stop the devastation. They came together, two warring factions to saw the earth and begin to prayer and chant together as the sea began to churn. This fable sounds like a tremendous hurricane. A mountain emerges from the churning ocean. Then emerges the ultimate poison, nectar, an extraordinary supernatural horse, a gem, tree and cow emerge. The elephant and other gifts from the realm emerge and finally the prayers of gods and demons were heard and Maha Lakshmi resplendent in all her beauty is born to the earthly realm and known as the daughter of the sea.
She came with great power, the power of unconditional love to transform reality for the good and bring great wealth to the devoted, and pure of heart. When doing ceremony for a husband ones does repetitive Lakshmi mantra with coins on a red cloth, a shree yantra (symbol of divine) feminine and a small cake ~ after completing the mantra you are meant to give the cake to a virgin girl to eat, and receive the blessing of the pure at heart sharing in your prayers.
