Story
If you grew up in India, you would be familiar with Lord Hunaman the monkey god as he was part of the cartoons and mystical teachings of the Hindu tradition.
There is a longer story about Lord Rama who looses his wife (she is kidnapped) to a demon Ravana. For years he tries to find and free her, but to no avail. Finally Rama enlists the help of his devoted friend Hanuman. Hanuman does locate her and promises to return with Rama and free her from the evil clutches of her capture. In the story Hanuman becomes superhuman and grows very very large, and lifts a mountain, revealing the path to Rama to his wife. Without the help of the devoted loyal friend Hanuman, Lord Rama and goddess Sita would never have been reunited.
