Understanding the drive towards suicide
and unplugging from the strong pull.

At the request of numerous students I’ve found a spot on my very full calendar July 5th for a clearing of issues related to suicide. Death is never better. As we pray for Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain, who took their lives recently, that they find peace and a place in the healing temples as they calm and soothe their pains of this human incarnation, we look to having this never be a choice or option for our any of our individuals in our blossoming community. We’ll do a big clear out on suicidal ideations, all the programs and spiritual interferences that get the whole issue looping around and in motion.

Have you struggled with depression and anxiety? Have you wondered what the purpose of challenge, pain and sorrow has in your life and how you could possibly live with what has happened to you? How can you come up from such a difficult path to live fully in the light and joy of life?

In moments of darkness it can seem like there is no hope for a better tomorrow, or that the life in front of you will just be more of the same.

If you’re my student you’ll know that I did that dance many years ago, I struggled with serious health issues, fighting 2 kinds of cancer, and a rare form of fibromyalgia where the mycoplasma infection had eaten away all the nucleus in my cells, with the pain receptors on full blast all the time. Even worse, the 3 children I had loved and nurtured into the world were lost to me in a court decision when I was 96 pounds battling cancer. I had been brutally assaulted. Had great disappointments in love. The stack of bad stuff far outweighed any joys in my life.

Way back then I struggled to find the answers. Why was my life in such shambles? I asked for help maybe not always consciously but I was asking and was actually hospitalized numerous times for severe depression. But the psychotherapists and doctors did not have the answers. Those answers came from deep within me. Death is not better, I resolved. And refused the obsessive thinking that if I took my life I would be at peace. I told myself a truth I fully believe, we take our unresolved problems with us, so if we end our relationship with the body we still have the troubles to deal with on the other side and in our next incarnation.

I began to look for how I could move into a heaven on earth state. As my constant thoughts refused the ‘death is better pull’ I began to heal, find ways to love myself, love life and be in the world once more. Prayer helped so much.

If I would have had the tools I now have on clearing I would have moved much faster out of the depression, but this is a strong reason for me discovering the programs and spiritual interferences, because I lived through the worst of life’s challenges, and came out all the better.

Life is better. Waking up to who you are is better. Enjoying this Garden of Eden is better!
