Serpent is cunning – more cunning than any other beast. This is not using enchantment or charm – serpent has an ability to use cunning manipulation to get you to do things you know are wrong. Serpent was aligned with Nephilim (the notion of turning God’s creation against God). These were targeted and directed at those in God’s creation who could be manipulated and would be remembered, perhaps influential in their disobedience / defiance.
And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day. God took physical form in Eden, and He was completely accessible to His creation. God loved and wanted to enjoy living among His creations.
The original serpent being cursed was apparently not a crawler, as the curse includes: “on your belly you shall go and eat dust all the days of your life.”
God, who was disappointed and angry with Adam, says: “Cursed is the ground for your sake.” (In other words, your legacy now is that the earth is cursed.) The verse goes on to talk about thistle and thorn. Humanity at this time becomes a curse to the earth just by being here. I test this is still true, and perhaps it is a great topic for clearing in Earth 8 classes.
The reason for the expulsion from the garden isn’t necessarily what you might think. If Adam continues to eat from the tree of life, he will live forever … therefore the Lord sent him out of Eden. So, a disobedient man, who may have lived forever, is tossed out on his rear – sadly done with immortality of that variety.
God placed cherubim to guard the entrance to the Garden of Eden, where the tree of life and the tree of knowledge reside. I tested these special trees are no longer there.
