We had a lovely, very sacred Online Recommitment and Baptism Ceremony this past Monday.
From the ceremony:
“Baptism is not only an act of repentance but comes with the grace of forgiveness. Through the purifying stream of water, each person now recommitting or baptized will be welcomed into the community of believers and blessed as a child of God.”
“Therefore, we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we may live a new way of life.” Romans 6:4
As our seven baptism candidates begin and continue their journey of faith, let us continue to support them with love and prayers. May they grow in grace, wisdom, and the knowledge of God’s love for the rest of their lives.
Many tears were shed, and a deepening connection with Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, along with recommitments to share Christ’s love and message in the world, were expressed. This ceremony will be an annual event, held the day following Easter.
For everyone who participated, there was a profound sense of renewal and a deeply refreshed, in-spirit awareness that was both profound and very real.
