In my research this week, I found where there is scriptural direction on human sexuality. I thought it was of interest, and I am sharing this with you so you can have a reference to the commandments of God. Jesus did not condemn or reinforce alternative sexuality; that was established in Jewish law, but He affirmed marriage between a man and his wife becoming one flesh. See how this lands for you. Do you see the value in these laws?
Angels had laws too. They were to remain pure and holy in their vow to watch over and protect God’s child, humanity. As we have learned in previous teachings, the Grigori watchers, 200 of them, conspired to break their covenant and God’s law and take human women as wives. They defiled themselves as they mated with human women, meaning they broke the sacred bond with God and became the cursed angels, who were cursed for all eternity. References to these stories are found in several chapters of the Book of Enoch. Their mating produced the Nephilim, the giants who, when they died, their souls – cursed – remained on earth as ghosts, never able to rise to heaven.
I believe and trust in God’s laws. I think they are given to us to help us remain pure and holy in His sight. He wanted that for us, for His people to be known as extraordinary, peculiar people, to be holy, righteous people.
Starting with the 10 commandments given to Moses:
- Commandment number 7: You shall not commit adultery.
- Commandment number 10: You shall not covet… neighbor’s wife, male or female servant…
Addressing incest, bestiality, and the like:
20 “Cursed is anyone who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he dishonors his father’s bed.”
21 “Cursed is anyone who has sexual relations with any animal.”
22 “Cursed is anyone who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.”
23 “Cursed is anyone who sleeps with his mother-in-law.” Deuteronomy 27
Trans issues:
5 A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this. Deuteronomy 22
[1] No one who has been emasculated by crushing or cutting may enter the assembly of the Lord. Deuteronomy 23, meaning removing a portion of the male genitals.
Sanctified for marriage of male-female partnership:
For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh. Matthew 19:5
