Grace Kelly

I have just returned home from viewing a lovely encore showing of the 1955 classic “To Catch a Thief,” with Grace Kelly and Carey Grant.” This Alfred Hitchcock film is absolutely gorgeous, set in the French countryside, every scene is more beautiful then the last. Grace Kelly is a natural Beauty. Edith Head, perhaps one of the all time best ever costume designers truly out does herself in this sophisticated action-mystery.

Honestly, I would love even today add to my wardrobe five of her chic outfits. The signature style found in the dresses and gowns worn in this film are always in vogue.

Being well dressed is always in or should be. Think about enjoying a well-dressed man or woman out at the theater or a dinner party. It is a breath of fresh air. You actually feel uplifted and privy to something extraordinary when observing these well-dressed individuals. It’s like they belong to a secret club of elegance and grace and love themselves enough to be ‘all that’.

You may not have an elegant or sophisticated style but dressing professionally on the job lets everyone you come in contact with know you take yourself seriously. You have set the tone for a strong presence as a person who has their act together. Dressing up beautifully for an evening out is a somewhat lost art, but I promise you that is you take the time to do this you will be delighted with the results. You will feel great and you will make the folks around you feel great!

Grace Kelly, at age 25, played roles where she was a glamorous sophisticated socialite. She organically knew how to be beautiful. This echo’s her real life as a Philadelphia debutant and fell in love in the fairy tale love story of the last century, with the Prince Rainier of Monaco.

Whatever class you were born into, you too can create a wave of elegance and class in your wake as your dance gracefully through life. Being beautiful inside and out is the new chic. This century is about youthful, natural beauty and it is truly possible. Love and care for yourself from the inside out.

If you want to learn how to be beautiful, ask yourself:

  • Who would I be if I were matching my best most beautiful self?
  • What would I have to give up to be this beautiful woman?

Really look into these two questions and get clear on what has been in the way of you being ‘all that’. Everything you need to know is inside you now. Natural beauty is authentic and comes from inside. The more loving and grateful you are the more radiant and beautiful you are to the world!
