As you may know, this was a model home and had been purchased by an investor 7-months ago. I was told she would do no more or the purchase would fall apart. This meant I could not bring up before closing a roof leak from ceiling to floor and tape on drywall badly done on the ceiling in the dining room.
The builder was over yesterday and immediately said: we’ll make these things right for you …so in addition to some repairs, they had agreed to and are waiting on parts from a few weeks back; they are now taking care of the other troublesome issues.
Small miracle 2: I had pushed the button for carwash at the gas station and didn’t get my code, which could have meant I didn’t pay for it or it malfunctioned. I just went to ask inside about it; the manager came out and said, oh, it looks like you didn’t pay, but for your troubles, we’ll gift you the super-duper wash!
Small miracle 3: Housekeepers didn’t arrive Monday morning as scheduled. I had confirmed it, so it was very odd. I checked with them via text. It turns out the person doing scheduling accidentally dropped my request from the calendar that morning.
She realized what had happened and sent her best team later in the day to tidy our home and gifted me $50 off the bill as a gift for her error.
It seems somehow, even when in each case things don’t seem to be working out as I would hope, they are still working perfectly. It feels like pennies from heaven everywhere I look, and I am grateful for God’s love.
