Careful what words you choose.

What the mind believes creates your reality.

How your mind interprets your world comes from your consistent use of language. Who you are and how deeply you live into your passionate life is directly related to the things you tell yourself and others over and over again. Also how big you play and the level at which you deeply enjoy your word is expressly related to your choice of syntax.

I have had a habit of being delighted with my work and being spent at the end of my day. When my close friends ask me how I am: I say happy and tired. My end of the day mantra has consistently been  ‘I am so tired’. I discovered this flaw in my speaking just last week and enthusiastically have put into place a new end of day mantra; ‘I am relaxed and blissful’. Can you notice how the energy for myself and body improves with slightly altering the use of words. My mind is now believing everything is in perfect order. When saying I am tired, my body complied to have exhausted worn out feelings. With Blissfully relaxed as my new mantra, I have actually been enjoyable, present evenings. One night I surprised myself and found I had a lot of physical energy, so I did a Turbo Jam aerobic workout. Super fun!

Think about the words you use on a daily basis to describe your state of being.

Imagine yourself going through your day, waking, going to the mirror, sharing a meal, working, relaxation and home time and bed time. Where are you listening to yourself and hearing words that consistently lower your energy?

Take a moment to write down those words or phrases that bring you down, then write down a couple uplifting or diffusing words or sayings to replace them with.

Experiment this week with altering your key lowering phrases. Notice what happens when you lighten the energy lowering verbiage with strengthening expressions.

Using words to alter your mental and emotional state can be surprising and invigorating!
