Sorcery disrupts connection with God. Sorcery represents a sin (breach of faithfulness) to God, emphasizing a desire to be God and control the supernatural rather than relying on divine providence. It is a rebellious teaching from fallen angels against God and has negative spiritual implications. It is focused on malevolent spiritual manipulation taught to humans when sons of God mated with human females. It promotes the use of supernatural power over others and the use of deceptive practices.
