What a special event! We just completed the sanctification and anointing of the first of our mighty warriors this past Thursday, and it was such a beautiful energy.
We started the ceremony with a prayer invoking Father God, Creator of all, Lord Jesus Christ, who is His Son, and the Holy Spirit. This was followed by an anointing-sanctification of our technology and furniture.
In the biblical context, sanctification refers to the process of setting apart a person, place, or object for a holy purpose.
This act of consecration is often accompanied by anointing, a ritual that involves the application of oil as a symbol of divine blessing and dedication to God.
The anointing of material things is a significant practice in the Old Testament, reflecting the belief that God’s presence and favor can be invoked upon objects used in worship and service.
As I demonstrated how to consecrate possessions, each of our participants took their time to ensure the room they would do battle in was set and energized with God’s blessings.
“And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shall hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.” Exodus 40:9-11
We read scripture, like the passage of Exodus 35:25-29, giving instruction from God for this process, and once everyone had reported the task of anointing these possessions was completed, we did the individual anointing, remembering how David’s anointed warriors, called mighty men or the mighty 30, did incredible feats in battle, like one man taking down 800 enemies in one day.
From there, we had an opportunity to share our intentions and do a good 30 minutes on the takedown of the evil of CPS organizations and ended with this blessing:
24 “‘“The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
26 the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’
