Adelia of course has been daytime potty trained since she was 2, but nighttime potty training is a whole different thing especially since she is a very deep sleeper.
So I decided that if we would ever make this transition it would mean I would be getting up to wake her for her potty times so that she could be successful. She is excited about the effort, but at times less then enthusiastic when it means having to wake up to go.
Sometime she is so amazing, declaring how much she loves me, in the middle of the night, while other times she is I don’t love you at the top of her lungs, still going along with the program, emoting all the way. She’s even growled at me and yelled I’m gonna bite you. Whew..okay, got it honey at this moment you are not happy.
The thing is she does want me to help her. She does want to stop wetting the bed. When she does have an accident, she comes into my room and apologizes. We hold hands and go down to her room and clean up, with zero recrimination, because she is just learning and is making progress, but right now needs lots of help to make everything work. You and I both know it’s not going to always be this way, it’s a season.
It’s really that way also with our process of learning and growing, developing our skills in quantum work. On some level we are toddler potty training. We don’t always like it, even though we really want to experience the rewards of gaining mastery in the Blueprint and in our field as it means our life is especially better.
In this case you’ll also need to have a part of you as a generous loving mom, who holds space for the grumpy moments, when you don’t want to pump another moment. Get some rest, send me a note on what you need help with so I can ‘hold your hand’ and we can do the clean up together!
It’s not going to always be tough, at times its going to be wonderfully blissful and ease filled. If you are in a season of challenge hang in there this too shall pass!
Big love xoxo
