If you’ve been studying with me for a while, you’ll already know I discourage the use of pendulums but you may not know the reason behind my opposition to this tool.
The dowsing/pendulum tradition is not a gift from God.
We are created with great strength for awareness and wisdom. Unfortunately, we have been sold a bill of goods that along with timelines moving us further from that God’s blessing, had a solution for not actively being able to access our knowing.
9,000 years ago this tool was introduced by the group known as devil. It can play off of personal awareness, but can also be easily manipulated.
My son is intuitive by nature, and at one venture decided to use an ouija board. He allowed his hands to be moved around the board and was apparently in communication with a ghost who got him mildly ‘compulsed’ to keep talking to it. Thank goodness he asked me about it not too long into this experience. I told him the thing he was talking to was not what they said it was, and it wanted to take my son’s energy and dominate his time. He took my advice and stopped.
Talking ongoingly to a spirit that controls the ouija board will begin to create a mental imbalance, and pull you away from your real life.
So how is using a pendulum like using an ouija board? It begins to create an energetic apathy, you believe this is your access to wisdom so you do not trust yourself to develop your own intuitive skills. It is meant to usurp your authority.
I also feel the pentagram and pendulum are very much connected, which takes us down the path of witchcraft. If we want to return to God’s alignment we need to know what we are doing and where the source of information and power is coming from and choose a pure path, one that continues to open the doorway to God’s alignment.
