There are sound forms being promoted with the intention of having us turn to technology as a way of superior knowledge. This encourages us to not go to God with our needs and ponderings but to think the answers to life’s ponderings can be found on the internet. It is true answers can be ‘found’ but satisfaction and growth? That is God’s domain.
Unplugging as much as you can while turning to God for your heart’s ponderings is a beautiful way to grow closer to God and the wonder and glory He has reserved for you.
I am participating in a 21-day prayer and fasting process offered by our church. Picking a specific thing to pray for, a version of fasting (for me a clean diet no sweets or bread and reading scripture in this case the psalms daily. There is a plan by the Synthetics to have us turn to technology as a replacement for God. Good to know this and say no thank you.
