I had the weirdest early pre-waking dream yesterday, and at first, I thought this had got to be related to All the poopy diapers I changed, But the awareness came later; no, there is actually a warning in this dream of highly contaminated human waste being used to fertilize crops.
Many, many years ago, I went on a Sierra Club mud cave and camping adventure. They explained all campers needed to carry a bag for poop and carry it out as human poop would kill the small animals if they ate it. Has our poop gotten cleaner or safer? Is our poop poison to the human population?
There are 2 very big issues we should be concerned with: the reclaimed water going on our gardens and the recycling of all human waste, including dead bodies of humans now being used to fertilize crops.
Is human waste good for crops to make them grow and add or detract from food value?
I get a no on enhancing growth and a yes on detracting from food value.
