Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we call upon Your glorious, miraculous, wonderful name. And God, we are asking for Your presence in this session as we seek to do Your will and Your way. We seek to remove the evil that has set against itself on us, and we ask that You help us to accomplish our intentions for the day.
We glorify You and praise You and honor and thank You. We thank You for the wisdom to be able to see what has been done. We thank You for the ability for us to take action, to be present with You, to have Your countenance, Your face, Your eyes upon us.
We thank You for Jesus, who walks with us every moment of every day. We thank You for Lord Jesus, Your Son, who You sent to share the experiences of humanity and to give us a pathway to heaven, the only pathway to heaven. We thank You for that.
And sometimes, God, we feel discouraged and we feel frustrated, and we wonder about our life, if we made any difference, if we mattered. And sometimes we just long to be with You in heaven with the Holies, singing and praising Your name, enjoying the comforts of the highest heavens.
And sometimes we just long for that, and we ask that this day be a day of rejoicing, of happiness, of fellowship and fun and accomplishment, that we are able to make a real impact on the things that slow us from having a beautiful waistline and just feeling beautiful.
We thank You for the people who see our beauty in our life. We thank You for the people who witness our strength. We thank You for the strength that You give us. And we thank You for both the independence and the interdependence we have with others.
And mostly, God, we turn to You as our hope and our joy and our salvation, our deliverance. We’re asking that evil be removed, and we know that Your loving hand on us can accomplish that goal.
We glorify You. We praise You. We thank You, God. We thank You for this amazing goodness, this amazing constant faithfulness and mercy. Amen.
