In Psalm 106, there are some interesting details shared about the Exodus that don’t appear in this great detail in the story of the Exodus in the Old Testament.

These are details likely put in from David and would have been part of the ancient knowledge and the memory of the Exodus.

When the people went astray, they were joined by the demon Belphegor, who is the demon of sloth. Several of the offenses of the people following this demon, who was a fallen principality:

  • They ate sacrifices to the dead.
  • They sacrificed their sons and daughters.
  • They spilt innocent blood.
  • They worshiped idols and sacrificed to idols.
  • They polluted their works.
  • They went whoring with their devices.

Because of this, God was greatly angered.

Their enemy oppressed them.

Moses stood in the gap between them and pleaded with God, and God did not destroy them.

I grabbed the details of Belphegor from the search engine and discovered some interesting things about this fallen principality demon.

Belphegor (Beelphegor)

Belphegor (also spelled Beelphegor) is a demon in Christian demonology and one of the Seven Princes of Hell, primarily associated with the deadly sin of Sloth. Originally derived from Baal-Peor, a Moabite deity worshipped on Mount Peor, he was absorbed into Hebrew lore and later transformed into a major infernal figure known as the “Lord of the Gap” or “Lord of the Opening.”

According to traditional demonology, particularly Peter Binsfeld’s Classification of Demons, Belphegor tempts humans through laziness and apathy.

Paradoxically, he is also credited as a patron of discoveries and ingenious inventions; he bestows wealth and the ability to create fantastic inventions, but his true purpose is to sow dispute and lead people to evil through the distribution of wealth and the temptation of effortless success.

He is sometimes described as Hell’s ambassador to France and is said to have been a former angel of the order of Principalities before his fall.

It appears this demon is backing socialism and chaos. There are many promises in this day after the blue wave election, where there are many promises of free this and free that, for example, free healthcare for all.

You also see the chaos and division that is being sown in all countries. I find it interesting that this demon is associated with France as well, with the problems in France right now.

I also clipped some information on what it means for making a sacrifice to the dead. The idols were considered dead in comparison to the living God, the creator of the universe.

Sacrifices of the Dead

The phrase “sacrifices of the dead” (or zivhei metim) refers to offerings made to deceased ancestors or idols, interpreted in two primary ways within biblical scholarship.

  • Idolatrous Offerings: Most scholars interpret the term as sacrifices offered to pagan deities (such as Baal Peor), who are metaphorically called “the dead” to distinguish them from the living God. This is linked to the Israelites’ participation in Moabite rituals involving idolatry and immorality (Psalm 106:28, Numbers 25).

I wondered about what is happening right now in this era and actually immediately who are the influencers in what has just happened in the United States.

  1. Belphegor, fallen principality
  2. Devil, fallen sons of God angel
  3. Corrupted archangel

These three are main leaders in the election results and in the invasions taking place, especially in Europe.
