I know pride has been attributed to alternative sexual lifestyles, but let us take this time to be proud of what we are and what we are accomplishing.
I had tested that the word proud had been altered so much that it no longer meant what it once meant. So feeling proud of children, or accomplishments is a bit watered down by the hijacking of this word. We could perhaps combine amazed, delighted, and fortified to make a new word of being filled with a pleasure that is derived from purity and life and the living of such a blessed life!
