Let me start by saying these are not the same. If you embrace the Bible as God’s word, you likely embraced Jesus Christ, Son of God. If you reject the Bible as God’s word, it is likely you may have been drawn to the idea of Christ consciousness as an ideal you embrace.
With this ideal, you will likely look at Jesus as an ascended master, not unlike Buddha, St. Germain, and others, not the Son of God per se. He would be put into a dumbed-down position of like these wise teachers. The wisdom from these collective teachers is labeled Christ consciousness.
Who was behind this competition? Lucifer. He is known as the angel of Light, and he is in big competition, having caused 33% of the heavenly angels to fail and fall from God’s grace, leading many of them into corruption and evil.
Jesus Christ is the only Son of God. He is not part of the angel group sons of God. He is one with God, who is Creator, Father God, Lord of all. He lived among us, taught us, laughed with us, shared our sorrows, healed our ills, and in the end suffered and died for us to prepare a way for us to join with God the Father in Heaven.
Why reject Jesus Christ as the Son of God? Perhaps you didn’t actually reject Him, but you might have rejected the church you were raised in and the way they integrated false teaching with Spiritual truth. And in rejecting the traditional church, you rejected Jesus.
Let me explain a bit more about this.
Say your internal truth seeker went off as I call bull to what a priest said or did. All the pomp and circumstance, the repetitive prayer, the pope being labeled another Christ, worship of saints, none of this made sense to you in your young life, and you left. There is also the factor of lame sermons and messages given from the pulpit that are teaching social or political ideology and not God’s word, or lack of the deep study of the Bible in many churches. It has become a club, not a place for believers to gather and fellowship.
You weren’t wrong in recognizing the Bull sh#@t. Jesus Christ did not form the Roman Catholic church. As the Roman Empire fell in 300 AD, the Roman Catholic church rose in power.
I always wondered why so many demons were active in the Roman Catholic church, and now I am seeing this in a whole new light.
Repetitive prayer was introduced in 1100 AD. Jesus did not teach this.
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Matthew 6:7
So then the Novenas, Rosaries, and all uses of repetitive prayer were against what Christ taught.
I was raised with a Catholic mom and a Lutheran Dad. I wrote a Rosary and now see the issue of repetitive prayer as in contrast to what Jesus is asking of us.
Another issue is worshiping ancestors. It is clearly instructed, do not call on ancestors who are dead. It is called necromancy and is forbidden.
“Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord…” – Deuteronomy 18:10-12
And to that, Mary was added by the Catholic church to be given the title Queen of Heaven and Earth, but she was never Queen of Heaven. She was fully human, not a ‘daughter of God’ as Jesus was the Son of God, and in that she should not be worshipped. She can be venerated and honored, but not praying to her specifically. We are only to pray to God, His Son, asking for help of Holy Spirit.
The Catholic church has gone deeply into teaching about using Angels and what they can give you based on what they were written about in scripture. Angels are not God.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8
So what do we do about angels as our friends? Honor them, do not pray to them, pray to God. In many cases in scripture, God’s response is to send the right angel for the job to help.
Think about what you are saying to others. Have you really read God’s word? Have you embraced it, wondered about it, been curious about it? Or have you been ‘tricked’ with ‘new age’ group mind that gets you to reject Jesus as Lord, Jesus as constant in your life, Savior, actual Son of God.
I encourage you to be curious. To wonder and look for your answers. Look to the Bible, rather than new, possibly corrupted books that have recently come to market. Use your own vision, your own mind to understand the truth. If you are relying on other people to interpret the Bible for you and complain about what is wrong with it, maybe it is time to take a new approach and embrace your own wisdom through direct knowledge.
