I was engaged with one of our long-time participants who has gone through a particularly rough year, and I heard again the strains of worry dominating her conversations.

I know when things are tough it’s hard to have positive outcomes and yet that is what we are asked to do.

When a challenge presents itself and you cannot see a positive outcome, pray that God shows you and wait on the Lord for an answer. It could be received from a simple comment from another,  a video popping up on FB that deals with exactly the issue, or even a vision of inner knowing coming directly in from the Divine.

The only reason we don’t get the answers and the notion of a positive outcome is we do not ask, and then upon asking have faith that God will in His perfect timing give us what we need, beautifully.

  • Psalm 27:14 – Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
  • Isaiah 40:31 – But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
  • Psalm 37:7-9 – Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
  • Psalm 130:5 – I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
  • Psalm 37:34 – Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
